Sketchbook Assignments
Your sketchbook should be a place to experiment, practice and reflect. (draw, write, etc. etc.) You need to spend at least 80 minutes (about 15 minutes) “sketching”. Please spend no more than a total of 1 class period of art class time (50 minutes) working on your sketchbook per week. Please update your the timesheet on Google Classroom every Friday and turn in your sketchbook to me.
How are sketchbook graded?
5 - Develop Craft - “I can use and explore my chosen material/tools with the skills I have gained inside and outside of class.”
5 - Engage and Persist - “I can learn to embrace problems of importance and develop focus within my work.”
5 - Express - “I can learn to create works that convey an idea, feeling, or a meaning.”
5 - Stretch and Explore - “I can learn to reach beyond my capacity and embrace the opportunity to learn from my mistakes."
5 - On Time and Presentation- “I completed the assignment on time and without blemishes.”
TOTAL: 25
