My drawing courses challenge me to do my best and try a variety of new methods, materials and art styles. And I have learned so much from Art History it’s crazy. It is a survey class ranging from the Paleolithic period to the Impressionists and onward. The amount of history I have learned from that class, as well as artist’s intention, symbolism, technique, and stylistic choices is paramount. The required courses have been pretty interesting as well, I enjoy the wide range of classes to choose from. The teachers have also all been excellent, each one I have had has been really passionate and knowledgeable about their field and very friendly." |
